SAUDADE...Missing my Cairo´s usual stage at the
NILE MAXIM and all the other amazing (and strange!) venues I had to chance to work at...
missing everything I once took for granted.
My work and amazing musicians with their childish crazy quarrels, the odour of shisha and hot tea boiling from "baladi" coffee-shops, the sudden love affairs enjoyed to the sound of Om Kolthoum, the surprises of every single day in a magical land where human logic does not apply.
Missing.And learning the TRUE meaning of
APPRECIATION and GRATITUDE.Dreaming about returning to Cairo as soon as possible!
