Shakefest 2012, Saturday, May 26th at Charleville Castle's new lineup of amazing arts and culture workshops and performances!

There is something for everyone - dancers, kids, family activities and guys - 12-6pm we have our World Cultures Fair and then we bring on the evening arts and entertainment from 8pm, ending with campfire drumming, camping and endless revelry!

This year Shakefest is proud to announce

International Guest Instructor

JOANA SAAHIRAH from Cairo, Egypt!

- Joana will be teaching us students the different styles of Egyptian Oriental Dance on Sunday, May 27th, and will also lead a conference on Egyptian History and Folklore.

All proceeds will be going towards Charleville Castle Restoration Fund - to help build a protective roof on the gorgeous Neo-Gothic Chapel and towards the castle's sustainability as an Independent Culture Centre of the Midlands.
