"There is something that is so relaxed and languid about belly dancers, like they are leading from their naval, where they are deliberately training to relax.

They seem open and accommodating, not necessarily in a sensual manner, but in a way that is unafraid; that’s what I observe.

There is something so very unafraid about belly dancers. How could you do belly dancing with hang-ups? There are lots of belly dancers who really have bellies; that’s seems to be the traditional standard for belly dancing.

Anyway…point is… when you are really participating in life, you might get flashes when you're not feeling afraid. If you're someone who is very strict and tight with themself, this might almost feel like an overly sexy lady or sexy fellow.

That is not true... relax the belly more. We don’t have to be a belly dancer, but why not explore that belly feeling of being happy and settled, and without a care in the world. Let’s just try it. Ahhhh….a few deep breaths.

One more big breath. By doing that, you are connecting with the energy of the world in a more relaxed manner; did you know that? Fear is often held here in the belly.

You get stomach problems, tension, you can’t eat or you eat too much. You don’t have a balanced life. There’s a balance point between your inner world and your outer world and is probably more belly centered than heart centered.

Deliberate heart-based activation toward the energy of the world is done in the mind/heart center, but this belly, the naval chakra, is where spontaneous interactions with the world happen."
